Hi Gary, Currently there is no way to set an anti-host affinity group for RVR.
However, cloudstack tries multiple times to start the (two) RVRs on different hosts as much as possible. step 1: start 2nd VR in different pod as 1st VR step 2: start 2nd VR in different cluster as 1st VR step 3: start 2nd VR in different storage pool and host as 1st VR step 4: start 2nd VR in different host as 1st VR step 5: no avoid resources -Wei On Fri, 2 Sept 2022 at 10:27, Gary Dixon <gary.di...@quadris.co.uk.invalid> wrote: > > > Hi all > > > > Quick Question > > Can anyone tell me if Redundant Virtual Routers have anti-host affinity > built into it by default as there seems to be no way to set anti-host > affinity rules for RVR’s > > > > > > BR > > > > Gary > Gary Dixon > Senior Technical Consultant > T: *0161 537 4980* <0161%20537%204980> > W: www.quadris.co.uk > The information contained in this e-mail from Quadris may be confidential > and privileged for the private use of the named recipient.
