Not sure it is deprecated, but as the upstream project had many
disruptive changes this also impacted Cloudstack, obviously.
Right now this is alpha at best and seeing how upstream is still
scrambling I don't think we'll see anything in the short to mid term, my
gut feeling says a couple of years before things settle (if at all) and
demand is re-evaluated.
I would not spend time on it.
