ok, that is strange, it may not have set the internal server. It should have resolved that hostname otherwise. Can you maybe experiment on the ssvm a bit to what and how? - If you set the original setting and recreate the ssvm, what does /etc/resolv.conf contain? - Does the reverse lookup work for that address? - ..? In lab environments we usually use 10.0.0.0/8 as pseudo external so this can get confusing quickly, so; Is this a shielded environment or is it supposed to be connected to the Net?
