Hey, all. Long-time OpenStack admin, but someone quite curious about
CloudStack here. However, I've tried to do a walk-through several
times, now, and always wind up with (say) issues WRT certs for
127.0.0.1. I've used the first video I found, and also something
online. Is there one that's really step-by-step, with specific details?
Could I be botching it by setting stuff in /etc/hosts?
Just trying to figure out how to get a bare-bones install off the launch
pad.
Also, one specific question: VLANs. I'm configuring stuff this way:
br0 -- untagged, VLAN 1, DHCP (management) (192.168.10.0/24)
cloudbr100 -- tagged, VLAN 100, static (192.168.100.0/24)
cloudbr101 -- tagged, VLAN 101, static (192.168.101.0/24)
All are routable through my router, which resides at .1 on each subnet.
Do I really need ten more VLANs as is suggested? Could I not use just
one or two? Willing to do whatever's needed, but I don't understand
what they're being used for, and why so many are required.
