Hi everyone! Today I discovered a new issue in my infrastructure. Not sure if it’s directly related to the topic of this thread — it might be a completely different problem. Normally, CloudStack updates the virtual machine’s state within about three minutes when the VM is shut down from inside the guest OS. On 4.19 I never saw any issues with this. But now on version 4.20.2 the VM status stopped updating altogether. Restarting libvirt helps — after the restart the status updates normally again after ~3 minutes, but it only works once. If I shut down the VM again, the status no longer updates. Has anyone else run into this behavior? Or would it be better to create a separate discussion / open an issue for this? If anyone has faced something similar — is this solved by switching to libvirt 10.6.0?
