Hi All, Here is the latest update on the 4.22.1 release.
We have closed 119 items (not much progress since the last update), and still have 197 open items (some added) in the 4.22.1 milestone [1]. - Open PRs [2]: 39 - Open Issues [3]: 158 (23 have linked PRs [4]) It seems we need some more time to work on the outstanding items, so I would like to postpone the 4.22.0 release. Updated timelines below: - Until 27 March 2026: Accept PRs for bug fixes, improvements and features (with appropriate reviews and tests). - 28 March - 3 April 2026: Stabilize the 4.22 branch. Only PRs for the critical or blocker issues will be accepted. - 4 - 15 April 2026: Cut the 4.22.1 RC1 (and additional RCs if needed), start & conclude the vote, and finish the release work.
