So, turns out that Hystax once off migration costs are quite prohibitive, especially as it's priced per vm (once off). And we have managed to mount the Nutanix storage as NFS (which is how it's done when using vmware on Nutanix). We are now exploring ways to directly read the vm files, which will eliminate a couple of time consuming steps on the Nutanix side - waiting for an OVA to be created and then downloading it from Nutanix.
