Did you try
property cib-bootstrap-options: pe-input-series-max=100 ?
(Then better stop pacemaker on the node, clean up the directory, and restart 
pacemaker on the node)
You could also try to keep the latest n files, messing with 
/var/lib/pacemaker/pengine/pe-{error,input,warn}.last

Initially when I had the problem, support said that "100" is way to low, but it 
seems OK for our situation (warnings go back a year at least, input a few 
months, and errors also a year or so).
