Cocoon with SVG/Javascript not working...

I am struggling to get an embedded SVG file working with _javascript_ inside of Cocoon - the file works fine as a static HTML page called from the local drive - but as soon as I call the page through Cocoon (loading the same 'static' HTML, JS and SVG files), the _javascript_ calls embedded in the SVG cease to work (although the _javascript_ calls inside the HTML page work as normal).   If anyone has any experience getting this configuration to work, or can point me to some relevant Cocoon docs on this topic, I would very much appreciate hearing from you.   Thanks Derek -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
