It's caused by <xsl:message terminate="yes"/>. You should see a message 
near this stacktrace why the stylesheets terminates the processing.

If you use Cocoon 2.0.4 or similar you can also switch to the 
interpreted sitemap engine which gives you the line of the error exactly 
and not hidden in a stylesheet message.
