What is the accepted way of accessing datasources in Flow. I've seen a few things on the dev and users list, but nothing definitive. I realize that it's still in discussion, but what's the current best practice?

-----

In an unrelated issue, can datasources be restricted by password? What do I mean?

Let's take the case of a single Cocoon instance that serves multiple sites a la:

main sitemap
  |
  +-------> sub sitemap for www.foo.com
  |
  +-------> sub sitemap for www.bar.com
  |
  +-------> sub sitemap for www.oof.com
  |
  +-------> sub sitemap for www.rab.com

and each site is maintained by a different person (as is the case with hosting). Now, for databases, you can assign each site a different datasource (by telling the person, "Hey you! You're using datasource 'foo'."). But then there is nothing stopping admin 1 from looking/manipulating admin 2's data. There's using JDBC directly, but then doesn't that drop pooling and lookup convenience?

Is this already handled and I missed it?
