Hey,
I'm using Cocoon 2.1, but cannot get the upload working correctly. I've tried turning "autosave-uploads" both "true" and "false", but the files are deleted just after they arrive on the server. "enable-uploads" equals "true" in web.xml also. This used to work with an earlier version of Cocoon. I'm also sure I'm editing the right web.xml, because changing the "upload-directory" value has an effect on the filesystem.
What's wrong?
If you can definitely confirm that autosave-uploads is being ignored, then you've discovered a bug (odd, because this hasn't been worked on in a while). Are the files gone after every request, or only after restarting the webserver? If this is cofirmed, please file a bug at bugzilla so it's not lost -- I'll hope to look at it but I may not have time soon.
Wait a minute, now I'm thinking we may have changed this behavior to force you to act on the files intentionally. autosave-uploads may now merely indicate whether the file will be kept in memory during the request, or kept on disk. Hmmm...
