It works with Weblogic 8.1. The only problem is related to the sample
sitemaps which do not expect the "index.html" which is apparently appended
by WL. You would have to change the appropriate "sample" sub-sitemaps as
well. But all this just relates to the samples. If you create your own
sitemap, simply take care of the WL appended "index.html" where needed.

I believe that because you changed from cocoon to cocoon/welcome that you need to use cocoon/welcome/samples. However, I haven't run the sample website under Weblogic 8.1 in a long time.

Hi Ralph

These are the steps I followed:

1-I downloaded cocoon 2.1 2-I edit root sitemap.xmap file and changed <map:match pattern=""> to <map:match pattern="welcome"> 3-I build cocoon typing build.bat
4-I copied the build/webapp (it was changed to cocoon) to my applications directory
5-After that I went to http://localhost:7001/cocoon/welcome and it worked fine
but when I went to http://localhost:7001/cocoon/samples I got an error message: Resource not found

I'm using jdk1.4_03 and Weblogic 8.1 platform sp1
