I was thinking about an input module at first as well; but I got frustrated by the
fact I couldn't get it working with a Xalan extension call to the
org.apache.cocoon.Constants... So that's why I got all messed up %-/

I suppose an input module would make perfect sense. Great!
This would be the cocoon-constant input module?
Another thing that frustrates me is the StatusGenerator which is terribly heavy - we
could opt for a cocoon-status inputmodule too.
