Warning: Attempted to release a null component.

I'm getting a ton of warnings in my logs like this:

ExcaliburComponentSelector: Attempted to release a null component.

Does anyone know what type of situation might be causing this, and how 
I might hunt it down?

I look like it's happening somewhere in ProgramGeneratorImpl.load(). 
The warnings always come in pairs, and I'm using lots of compiled 
components, so I can get dozens of the warnings per request. I think 
it's slowing down my app a bit.
