Not possible (AFAIK). Cocoon generates a PDF from an XML document which is transformed using XSL:FO. What you want to do is best accomplished using Adobe Acrobat Distiller or one of a number of open source projects. I am able to "print" to a PDF file on my Linux (KDE) Desktop.
