we are using this feature for application integration (reuse of existing
webapps inside the portal).
There are some small limitations (eg. apps using framesets are not good
supported)
Can we talk OT to each other? Would be easier as i suppose you are also
talking german.

is it possible to put a whole webapplication in a cocoon coplet? I'm using
the cocoon engine and found the ApplicationCopletAdapter. Does anyone
already use it or can anyone tell me this is the right way and how I can
put my application into a coplet? I'm stepping in the dark somehow.
