Cocoon and XSLTC : Where are the translets stored ?

Hi,   during testing I would like to delete the translets to be sure a page is regenerated.   The problem is I can't find the compiled stylesheets (translets).   Are they stored some where in a directory or all kept in memory ?   Stefan
