I am using jeuclid to convert mathml fragments to gif images. I am interested

Hello Nicolas,

asking such a question in the jeuclid community might result in more explicite answer and faster reaction. But maybe Stephan might listen here too.

Otherwise have a look at
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/jeuclid/jeuclid/src/net/sourceforge/jeuclid/cocoon/MathSerializer.java?annotate=1.4#192.
This method seems to be completely Cocoon-unrelated except for the logging.
