Calendar in ical format

   I'm developing a web based coordination tool for a customer, and 
part of it is an events calendar. I have the event data stored in a XML 
database, and would like to make a "download calendar" link which 
downloads the events in vcal/ical format...
  
   I read in old messages of this list that someone was already working 
on it, but I have not seen further notice... Have you done something 
like this before? Is the XML->ical conversion alredy done somewhere?
