Unfortunately I can not answer all questions. I have not used the CompilingClassLoader until now. I know that you must specify the src dir for the CCL somewhere and I thought it was cocoon.xconf. But it might also be that the CCL does not work with javaflow together.



No, the CompilingCL doesn't work at the moment with javaflow.



When will reloading context in javaflow work. It's a really pain in the ass to develop without reloading feature >> enabled. I now need to restart tomcat everytime i change a class, or is there a better way?



I don't know where the classes been cached. Unfortunately I don't have time to look into it.

Some time ago I posted a thread where I said that I had modified the
java-flow-block.jar in a way that each time a javaflow .class file
was changed in time (a new version) Cocoon reloaded that class.
Take a look at:
