In case anyone is interested - I released version 0.3 of my WebGate application (formerly Sentinel). Its still in its early stages.. but is currently somewhat usable (much more than the 0.2 release). It uses Cocoon 2.1.4 for its web interface.. I'll upgrade to 2.1.5 with the 0.4 release.
http://webgate.sourceforge.net If you havent heard me mention WebGate in the past.. its an application that functions as an information aggregator. It includes RSS reading support (from any RSS, RDF or Atom feed), updated weather conditions, integrated Google/Dictionary/IMDB searching, and fully functional TV programming grid (pulls data from labs.zap2it.com). The biggest change from 0.2 to 0.3 you ask? Here's a quick list: * A windows version with installer!! * New "skin" and a redesigned look and feel of the web interface * Configuration GUI (SWT) * Console GUI (also SWT based) * TV Grid data is now loaded automagically from labs.zap2it.com - no need for XMLTV anymore. Just sign up for an account at labs.zap2it.com and modify your conf/webgate.properties file to include your zap2it login information. Anyways.. if you're interested take a look! If not.. just ignore this email :) I would have never been able to get this app redesigned so quickly without the help of Cocoon. Yay! Maybe I'll get into flowscript and redesign it for that in the next version (I'm using mostly XSPs and redirects and such.. kinda ugly but works).
