Hi Vladimir,

I think it totally depends on the URI that called Cocoon.
if you have several levels like
http://server:8888/my/path/to/the/url, you must go back several times before getting
the http://server:8888/pics URI...

Have a look at Roman's answer.

Hi, Oliver and Roman

Sorry for delay with the answer but changed the computer.
It isn't so simple in my sample :-((((((
Refrence on gif in body of the html page "<img src=../pics/z82.gif width=36 height=34>" is the original.
Directory "pics" with gifs and "html-xml" with sp.html and sitemap.xmap are on the same level :
"D:\cocoon-2.1.5\build\webapp\pics\" and "
D:\cocoon-2.1.5\build\webapp\html-xml\
Therefore tag "<map:read mime-type="image/gif" src="pics/{1}.gif"/>" didn't work :-(((((( Even didn't work absolut path <map:read mime-type="image/gif" src="d:\cocoon-2.1.5\build\webapp\pics\{1}.gif"/>

How I must say to cocoon about the place of "pics" this in src="????pics/{1}.gif" ??!!

VL
