You asked this question before, so you might want to check the archives. Basically, define a convertor in the binding definition. Just to be sure: IN THE BINDING DEFINITION. Because that's the point you were missing last time. To avoid any formatting, you can use the "plain" convertor. And pay attention that the convertor must be in the fd namespace, not fb.
