Hi Attila,

Looks like you got no answer to this one - I don't have all the cards in hand but here are some pointers (all AFAIK - search the dev@ list for more info):

-Currently the closest thing to a plan is
http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=xml-cocoon-dev&m=109387919331309&w=2

-The merging of the Rhino-with-continuations in the official codebase is not trivial, it seems like Rhino has moved a lot since the continuations-enabled version was created.

-There are some license issues as well, distributing the official Rhino with Cocoon might (again AFAIK, interpretations vary) be a problem currently.

So it's hard to tell if and when exactly this will happen, many people would like it but until now it seems like no one has been able to put enough energy into it.

If you're able to help, please move this discussion to the dev@ mailing list.

Hope this helps!
-Bertrand

Hi folks,

is anyone planning on syncing the Rhino-with-continuations codebase from 1.5R4pre to more current Rhino release, i.e. 1.5R5 (currently the latest 1.5 release)? If not, could any of its original authors give me pointers how to do it? I assume most of the base org.mozilla.javascript.* classes can just be copied over, with few hooks (i.e. optimization level selection) to be taken care of... hopefully...
