How to face a project in Cocoon

Dear sirs, I read a lot of material abt. Cocoon & some technical article that are very specialistic, but what I would find are some Tip&Tricks abt. how to start a project. For instance what I thought, because my need are only to transform an xml file in an html, is create all the xml file & the xsl that I need check if they works & then put they in Cocoon. Is something usual? Any suggestion?   Thanx in advance Roberto
