Askild,

the problem has been solved already. It's just not in Cocoon yet.

Have a look here:

http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/jakarta-commons/jxpath/src/java/org/apache/commons/jxpath/ri/JXPathContextReferenceImpl.java?r1=1.43&r2=1.44&diff_format=h

The developers of commons-jxpath had fixed this, that was past 1.2 of
jxpath and Cocoon is using 1.2. If you just update your Cocoon to the
current nightly build of commons-jxpath.jar the problem will go away and
you probably don't need the workaround with the additional context any
more.

Also the identity / additional row problems that I was mentioning earlier
went away all of a sudden. So I am quite happy and I do hope that the
Cocoon devs will update commons-jxpath in the trunk soon. (A pitty i
didn't make it for 2.1.7).

Interesting enough, the issue with <link> versus <ld:link> remains, but I
can live with that.

Thank's for you pointing me in the right direction. I would have never
found that without you spotting the Java code. I will also update the bug.

Regards,
Torsten

Yes, the problem is solved for me as well. Thank you for finding this :-)
