If you would like to see the marketing of Apache Cocoon receive a boost, take a look at spreadfirefox, head on over to <http://www.spreadcocoon.com>, and let's start brainstorming. You'll need to register first.
The forums are for sharing your ideas about how to spread consciousness of Apache Cocoon. For example, use Switch Stories to tell the world why you switched to Apache Cocoon, and why you use Apache Cocoon now. Use the Events forum to help ensure Apache Cocoon has a presence at tradeshows and other events. Use the Press forum to discuss dispatches, and responses to press enquiries as necessary. Use the Visual Identity forum to discuss Apache Cocoon logos, themes and other core visual identity.
A "Powered by Cocoon" logo would be a start! For the current state of affairs, see <http://wiki.apache.org/cocoon/PoweredByCocoon>.
This initiative is another of my itches. The other day a colleague said (something like), "the Cocoon community is a bunch of people aged 30+ who used to have a whole lot of energy to change the world, but are now more interested in their own businesses and families." Ouch. I'm 30+. My colleague will be too in a few years. :)
