Haven't done anything about it since then.

In the "Spring in Action" (2005) eBook there's a very good tutorial on chapter 11 about this system. Very easy to read and understand, only 40 pages (some stuff deprecated, what I unfortunately experienced). A recent, but not as easy to read tutorial, is directly in the acegi package itself (in the <acegi-security>\docs\docbook folder). But if you read the "Spring in Action" chapter before, its easy again and up to date. (At least for me it wasn't so easy to read. For more experienced ones maybe easy.) I truly think, the only reason I didn' get it to work, was that my cocoon-skills are to poor to integrate it. Was more of a try and error attempt, without any scheme. I got this system running pretty fast. But my limeted cocoon-skills prevented it to run properly with cocoon.

Questions on deprecated tags welcome.

If somebody gets this "thing" to run with cocoon, tell me please!!!!

Cheers
Jonny

Hello Wojtek,

I think you are the second person to wonder about it:

(i.e. all posts tagged with "acegi" - handy!)

Hi there,

I was just wondering, is it possible to plug Acegi Security
(acegisecurity.sourceforge.net) into the Cocoon&Spring bundle? Or will
all those filters and Acegi specific config stuff mess up Cocoon for
good?

Has anyone wondered about it?
Anyone tried it?
Anyone succeeded? ;)

because the framework looks quite nice
