What does the string look like inside the <query> tags?
Can you try post this string directly to the database, via
some other tool, for testing?

Hi,
I have tried to drop the qoutes but still get the same
error :(
I am using the paginator transfomer and each time the
"next" link is followed the a value in the database
should be updated. Does this frequent usage cause the
problem ?
