I know i want to be able to have Cocoon handle the request/response for
webservices, but Axis provides better plumbing than Cocoon for now. I
wouldn't mind having a way to call a Cocoon pipeline to return the
response to the user.
Well, the Cocoon Bean, as it currently stands (and as you know!), isn't
really that well set up for embedding. Best thing would be to create an
Axis 'environment' and just build the necessary wrapper around the
cocoon object, a la cocoon bean/cocoon servlet/cocoon portal.
