I believe there is a session-attribute action. Though you will have to dig into the blocks and
samples to find out how it works, 2.1 docs don't mention it.. :-(
Flowscript is a good alternative, though. Write a match for set-session-attribute and call a
flowscript function that does: session.setAttribute(request.name, request.value);
