Yes we have, unfortunately it did not work. It appears that the Servlet tries to explicitly set the environment SAX parser to the default cocoon one, however since the Xerces/Xalan versions which come with Sun are newer than then those that come with cocoon this doesnt quite work. (Unless you want to force all your apps to use the older parsers).

Have you tried using the ParanoidCocoonServlet? We had similar problems on Websphere (which was running an older customized build of Xerces/Xalan from those shipped with Cocoon), which were solved using that.
