So I ventured into the Java source… The
DefaultTreeModel uses a HashTable, hence the un-orderdness. I was able to
create a specialize TreeModel using a Vector that maintains child ordering. From: Combinational

with node ordering under a flowscript-built DefaultTreeModel. The ordering does not seem to be correlated
with the key or the order in which nodes are added. I’m not sure if
