I wanto to fill a form and perform some jobs with the data. Suppose i want use the data to send a mail, or maybe to do some SQL operations or generate a PDF...

I don't know what you need, but flowscript is now mainstream I guess, and not XSP or actions. the only actions I use are clearcache actions...XSP I can't help you with, because that is too long ago.
