Hi Bhavya,
since people are switching to 2.2 now, first I must ask you which version of
cocoon are you running? I'm not sure if you read the the archive, but you will
need to remove the geronimo jars and replace them with the sun mail jars before
you can use the email functionality.

Btw; before crossposting your question to multiple lists, I think it's best to
think about what list would be best. The cocooon list would have been
sufficient in this case.
