I don't want to be picky too much but blaming mailing-list program that
it does not fix mails not following standards it little weird. It's your
e-mail client's responsibility to create proper mails that others I are
willing to answer...

And References seems to be not identical to the In-Reply-To header so
it's not enough to have it included.
