Yes: Performance is much faster (the larger the document, the larger the performance gain, up to hundreds of times). StripNameSpaceTransformer is a very simple SAXTransformer just removing namespaces, and ofcourse, is much faster (after being cached, it has some subtle optimizations compared to StripNameSpace.xsl, like shorter cachekey and a NOPValidity instead of TimeStampValidity...though hard to measure the difference :-) (doing in one pipeline 100 times the .xsl version compared to 100 times the sax strip namespace transformer will show you difference, like a few seconds compared to a few ms) ) IMO, StripNameSpaceTransformer is always preferred if you only want to strip namespaces and have no additional transformation things Regards Ard > > -- > Grzegorz Kossakowski > http://reflectingonthevicissitudes.wordpress.com/ > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
