Fellow Cocoon Enthusiasts,

I want to invite interested parties to join a discussion group I have set up
for the specific topic of "using Cocoon as a Semantic Web (i.e. RDF, OWL,
SPARQL, etc.) application platform":

http://groups.google.com/group/cocoon-semantic-platform

This is an area that I've been working in for several years, on client
projects as well as in the open source arena (www.peruser.net).
I want to compare notes with others who are using RDF inside of cocoon,
discuss best practices, opportunities for collaboration, and so on.
I would also like to discuss whether it makes sense to try to release
some of our code as a cocoon+jena block, perhaps as a submission to
cocoon 2.2 or some future version.

I am personally biased towards using Jena to access RDF models and
execute SPARQL queries, but integrations with other cocoon-compatible toolkits (e.g. Sesame) are up for discussion as well.

On the group page, I started a small informal directory of projects that use
cocoon and RDF together. If you are aware of others, I'd love to
hear about them.

I'd also like to hear about any other web resources that you think are
relevant to this discussion.

Thanks,

Stu
