I am posting this in hopes perhaps someone has a clue to share.
We are generating pretty standard reports in dear old Cocoon 2.1. HTML and pdf versions, charts and graphs included. HTML reports and graphs generate fine when we move to Java6 (applied the one patch referenced in the group earlier). The pdf reports generate mostly fine, but the SVG graphs that are included in the pdf magically lose their text (legends, numbers, etc) though the drawing components are fine.
I have seen snippets here and there when googling the problem that there might be an issue with the batik library, but no one has described a situation similar enough to what I am seeing, and no definite solutions were posted that I could find.
