yes, you can, but I think it depends on the "functionality" of your website. Is it more content centric or more
application centric?

What about integrating a Content Management System? As mentioned before what about Portlet functionality?

I would suggest the same: what about Hippo CMS [1]? It should comply with most (if not all) of your above expressed requirements.
