Hi,

As far as I know, it is the same Tomcat engine that you run either on a 32 or 64 bits JVM. Only the JVM matters. If your JVM runs in 64 bits, Tomcat can use as much as memory allowed by the JVM.

Hi there,

Would anyone know if I use Cocoon/Tomcat in 32 bit mode on Windows 2008, but run the JVM in 64 bit, if Tomcat can use the larger memory (3.2 GB?) available to me in the 64 bit Java machine?

Or to use this should Tomcat also be 64 bit?

thx.
Paul
