how to define JVM for RELEASE-button

Hi,
 
Continuum offers the button "Release" to trigger the Maven release process.
 
Since this is not a "normal" build-definition, you cannot define "Build 
Environment".
 
Is there any other way to define the JVM in which the Release process is 
running?
