Upcoming continuum 1.2 release and 64 bit architecture

Hi list,

I have taken a look a the continuum svn, and I noticed that 64 bit 
support (for the launcher) seems to have been dropped from the upcoming 
continuum 1.2.

Is it normal?
Have I missed something?
Shall I enter a JIRA?
