In that case I should note that I only used FreeBSD as server, ever. So
usually it wouldnt even have X on it. To be fair, some PHP modules
create quite a dependency fest albeit it nowhere near what Gnome (KDE
user here, not much difference in size but KDE seems more sanely
organized) would create.
