You can test packaging it via pkgsrc-wip project. Or ask [EMAIL PROTECTED] 
if anyone as packaged up the tightvnc release candidate.

Also try wip/vncviewer4 which provides an autoconf configure for 
vncviewer. (I didn't look, but maybe it does a server build too, but just 
doesn't install?)
