I used to update it regularly but I received almost no feedback every time and my radeon 7500 didn't work anymore, so I never committed it. Now I am on nVidia so I can't test anymore.
I got patches at <http://chlamydia.fs.ei.tum.de/~corecode/unsorted/drm.tar.gz>. Not the freshest, but they might be a starting point.
