2006/6/15, [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
Why is the ipv6 address not configured on tun0? Personally I use gif,
since I have a public IP, but this looks strange.
OK, I've change ipv6 interface to tun0.
losalamos# ifconfig tun0
tun0: flags=8011<UP,POINTOPOINT,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
        inet6 fe80::240:caff:fe17:c0a8%tun0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x8
        inet6 fe80::14b8:100:187:2%tun0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x8
        inet6 2001:14b8:100:187::2 prefixlen 128
        Opened by PID 81129

And now i have:

losalamos# ping6 2001:14b8:100:187::1
PING6(56=40+8+8 bytes) 2001:14b8:100:187::2 --> 2001:14b8:100:187::1
ping6: sendmsg: Address family not supported by protocol family
ping6: wrote 2001:14b8:100:187::1 16 chars, ret=-1

I have no idea what is going on...
