Caveat: Use some other mx for your e-mail, not comcast.

Our MX'en blacklist all of comcast, as they do nothing useful to block outbound to port 25, and are *infested* with Win-Zombies.

I'm puzzled. Why block the Comcast SMTP server instead of just the Comcast dynamic IP block? The zombies are highly unlikely to try to use the official SMTP server (which WILL throttle you if it detects spamming).

ISTR that we do the IP block also, but in ipfw, not Exim.

Along with most major US ISP/telco's, worse than Russia, at least since the "You too CAN-Spam act".

Their MX *does* pass spam, and is probably a well-endowed 'pool' so throttling wouldn't help much to our meagre servers.

Anyway - nothing of much importance is said in the land of daytime-TV these days, so nobody here has missed 'em. One *swbell whitelist entry per 300 million folks?
