It doesn't seem like a bad idea. In fact, I propose a new rule of thumb: For any proposed feature where: 1: Matt doesn't object, and 2: No existing functionality is lost it should go in. Looking at the LICENSE file, it is indeedy under a BSD license. Grzegorz, can you submit a unified diff?
